From the most subtle barrette to the most extravagant of bejewelled crowns, head pieces are a total must have for fall. There is a massive variety of pieces so everyone is guaranteed to find something to suit them. Feather fascinators, silk turbans, native headdresses and even a few new approaches to the tiara; something to complement any style.

Marie Antoinette - the original Lady Gaga

Okay, Ms. Antoinette was a little more subtle.

Olivia over that Original Seed has many other inspiring photos you should check out.

I am personally investing in a native feather headdress. What will you wear on your head this fall?

Rainy Day

When I was little, my best friend has this dress that I was very jealous of. It was navy blue with white flowers and I always wanted to wear it. So when I recently came across this pair of vintage shorts with the same fabric, I freaked out. I knew it was meant to be! So now for... PICTURES!

It started raining on me =(

My heels kept sinking into the wet ground. Not fun.

Just Like We Breakdown

Two outfits today!

The first one was thrown together to do some running around. Not much to say about it so... PICTURES!

It's really all about the belt.

And the necklace boyfriend got me for my birthday!

This outfit I wore to dinner last night. The dress is amazing and the colour is great for fall. I'm really excited to get more of this purply burgundy for my fall/winter wardrobe! I wore the birdcage necklace again because I LOOOOOVE it. So now for more... PICTURES!

The bright sky is making me squint, I'm not angry here.

I love my collection of accessories.

Blue Jean Baby

Not much to talk about today, just posting a couple pictures from a few days ago. Hit up the big sale at Artizia and got the blue linen blazer I've been going bonkers for. I'll just get straight to it... PICTURES!

I really need a tan.

My heart beats in its cage

The most amazing necklaces came into my work yesterday, and I got three of them! The first one I'm going to display here is the birdcage I got. This piece is just stunning. It was once again destiny because I realized how beautiful it would look with this pink silk dress I've had for ages but never worn. And the shoes just tied it all together! So now for... PICTURES!

More amazing necklaces to show soon!

I bought quite possibly the coolest dress ever yesterday. And it looks great with the coolest pair of wedges ever!
To be honest, I usually hate wedges. They instantly make me think of the cork or rope look ones that all those lame chicks wear on their pre-beach wal-mart runs. Barf! But then I came across this pair of Jeffery Campbell's and I fell in love! The suede look, the boot style, closed toe; how much more perfect can you get?

The ring on the right is an elephant. Amazing!

Love the silver zippers on the back!

Now I must go find some white heels. Who would have thought it would be so hard to find such a simple thing?

Every rose has its thorn

What is the most dangerous thing in the world for me? Sales. Aritzia sales in particular. Why? Because I spend every penny I have. On the bright side, I got some sweet finds that will be making an appearance very soon!

I decided to post this outfit because I got a lot of compliments on it today. Especially the ring. That was a huge hit because, well, it's huge! It's getting late so I'll just put up the pictures and be done with it!

I could seriously hurt people with this thing!

Need to work on my voguing skills.

Beginning to sort through all my belongings and figure out what I'm taking, what I'm leaving and what has to be gotten rid of. It is a sad task and I'm getting overly sentimental with certain things. It is going to be a long process.

Deery Me

I have been waiting for ages to get a good picture of this skirt and the ring. I adore them both more than any other garment or accessory I own. I can't be bothered writing a whole blurb about them now since I am too excited for the pictures, so without further ado... PICTURES!

OMG I'm wearing makeup!

Nails don't match, but who cares!
(Okay, I do...)

I have to go running off to work now, wearing this exact outfit.
Yes, this is the kind of stuff I wear to work on a regular basis. I lead a charmed life!

A storm's a-brewin'

As stated in my previous update, I found a beautiful place in Vancouver to live. It's a two story corner unit condo townhouse along South Granville. It's perfectly placed on the side of the hill so we have mind blowing views of the mountains and Pacific Ocean. Jealous yet?
My trip left me feeling a little nautical, so I put together this super cute sailor girl outfit. The shirt I originally had was a red/white striped version, but it got washed in the wrong load and well... we won't go into that. However, this version of the shirt worked much better because I could play up the red accents a little more. And the sunglasses... oh baby do I love 'em! The absolute perfect touch!

I love how the whole outfit just fit so perfectly and all the reds were so close to the same tone. I also love adventuring around Kensington because the vintage shops are so amazing there! A little vintage shoe store on Kensington Avenue has a massive selection of boots and shoes from the modest to the outrageous.
Speaking of shoes, the shoes I am wearing here are from my friend Joan's shop on Queen West. The store is called Chocolate Shoes and they have so many cute ballet flats and accessories. You can find it just east of Bathurst on the south side of Queen.

Time to start downsizing the wardrobe for the big move... tear! =(
